Julie

Julie

Julie is very obviously a ruddy Somali, but we don't have a lot of history about her. She was rescued from being euthanized at a vet's office in the Seattle area, back in December of 2006... and came to stay with us for a few weeks. She found a wonderful new home with a dear friend of ours, and settled in to a life as a pampered and adored pet. Sadly, her new owner passed away only a short year later, and Julie returned to us.

At some point in her life, Julie was declawed on her front feet. Although we don't approve of this practice, it was done long before we rescued Julie, and can't be undone. Julie has had some dietary issues, but has been doing quite well with us, on a diet of canned Fancy Feast, and dry Iams hairball formula food. She does tend to have some litter box issues, which could be related to the declawing procedure - we suspect this is why she was dropped off at the vet's to be euthanized, because she certainly doesn't have any serious health issues!

Julie would love to move to a permanent "retirement home", where she could become part of a family again - she's a very sweet girl, and very affectionate. Please contact us, if you'd like to learn more about Julie.
