Solo is a busy little red female, born in our second litter out of Lucky.
She was a singleton kitten, which is where she got her name. She is quite sure
that she's in charge of the world!
Solo was just a baby when we were fortunate to have Chanan do a home sitting
for us, so we were able to get photos of her at about 10 weeks of age - something
we don't normally get to do! She was absolutely adorable...
Solo just completed the 2010-11 show season, being shown in the premiership
class. She was CFA's best Somali in premiership for the season, and the 5th best
cat in the northwest region's premiership class. She was one of the most fun
cats I've ever had the pleasure to show - she was absolutely "on" in every ring
she was shown in, and had quite a fan club throughout the show season. She truly
believed that all those people were there to watch her, and her alone. Truly a
show cat - all I had to do was give her a ride to the rings, and then let her do
her thing! I'm not really sure that she wouldn't have just taken herself to the
rings, if I hadn't been around...
And finally, apologies for all the photos that have to load on Solo's page - she's
just too photogenic, and I couldn't manage to cut her "good" photos down to a smaller
number! Quite obviously, this little redhead has stolen my heart...
